Expanse and batteries helps with idle watt consumption of inverter
I love the plug and play installation of this system.
If we have consecutive days of cloudy weather, the idle consumption of the inverter adds up over the course of a week, draining the power reserve for basic house functions, so having expansion batteries is really helpful.
I live in a pretty cloudy part of the country so having a two expansion batteries per Apollo 5K gets me through a week of cloudy weather.
Next, I’m working on expanding the size of my solar panel array, to enable quicker recharging of the system

I bought 2 extension batteries as I have 2 Apollos. Am still in the process of testing and figuring out. Only 4 stars for now but am satisfied so far. May update rating later.

My off grid needed a little more power and this did the trick.
Adding the 2 expansion batteries was a great addition to my 4 Apollos. And 28 Hysolis solar panels !!
