Apollo 5k

You need to include the tool to disconnect cables to/from solar panels. I don’t like unplugging everything to go into eco mode . I am still awaiting the app so I can control the unit from my i-phone.

Great Supplement

I added the expansion battery for cases where the power outage may be long, and cloudy weather might be extended. The units fit well together. Beware the battery is very heavy, so heed the two-person lift warning. With my current load, the single unit would go town to about 78% overnight, but with the expansion battery, it now only goes down to about 90%. Installation was smooth, and of course it came with the necessary cable. I also added the set of wheels as with both units together, moving them would be very hard without wheels. I do plan on adding additional load to the unit in the future, but already I'm appreciating the ease of mind in case of a power outage. We had a 5 hour outage a few weeks ago, and it was so nice not having to rush right out to set up the gas generator! One suggestion to Hysolis would be to add some specific documentation to just the expansion battery. There's likely not a lot to say as connecting it was pretty simple, but some clarification on how the expansion affects the overall unit would be nice.
